Advanced IP Law CLE

The purpose of the AIPLC Committee is to manage the planning, programming and execution of the annual Advanced IP Law CLE.

Advanced Patent Litigation CLE

The purpose of the APLC Committee is to manage the planning, programming and execution of the annual Advanced Patent Litigation CLE.

Annual Meeting CLE and Luncheon Program

The purpose of the AMC Committee is to manage the planning, programming and execution of the Annual Meeting.

ByLaws/Governance

Advises the membership of current developments in the field of antitrust law and trade regulation insofar as they are related to intellectual property law; reviews the statutes, legislation, judicial decisions, treaties, and practices and procedures before the courts and administrative agencies; and recommends resolutions for originating, supporting or opposing positions on current positions and proposed changes.

Lifetime Achievement Award

The purpose of the Lifetime Achievement Award is to recognize lawyers who have practiced law or otherwise been involved with Intellectual Property Law for a minimum of 25 years. The recipient’s career should have had a significant impact on the Intellectual Property Law practice in Texas and should preferably be a long-time member of the IP Law Section of the State Bar of Texas. The award will be considered annually, but not necessarily awarded annually, and may be awarded posthumously.
