Terminal Annex Federal Building, Texas Regional U.S. Patent and Trademark Office

The Texas Regional Office (TXRO), located in Dallas, Texas, is an extension of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office headquarters thast serves the Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Tennessee, and Texas regions. Opened in 2015, some of the goals of the Texas Regional Office are to promote innovation and stimulate the economy by connecting inventors and entrepreneurs to government resources and gathering feedback from regional stakeholders.

As part of the State Bar of Texas IP Section’s efforts to serve its members, the SBOT IP Patent and Trademark Committees periodically interface with the Texas Regional Office and may occasionally share pertinent information and updates about USPTO-related developments and news.
