Public Relations Committee
The purpose of the Public Relations Committee is to educate the public about Intellectual Property Law and to engage in public service activities to further that goal. The committee will organize a speaker’s bureau to fulfill requests for speakers on intellectual property law topics to non-lawyers, general lawyers, law students, and schoolchildren in Texas. The committee will advise council as to opportunities for the section to serve the public with respect to education on Intellectual Property Law and other public service activities intended to enhance the image of the section and its members. The committee will develop policies on media inquiries from the public to the section.
